Poor service .We did a lasting power of attorney in February.We paid a large amount of money for this at the time I said is there anymore to pay was told no that's it .When checked bank another £200 was took out so say for VAT .Then another letter sent saying they wanted even more money to register said documents.
Took months for documents to be collected from us (but quick enough to take money ) .Was told if not in just leave them somewhere they could come and pick up (baring in mind this is confidential information) .
Made several phone calls asking for documents back but,still waiting 6 months later .

Had wills done many years ago when we lived in England. During the coming years we moved to Scotland and after a period of time we're made aware by WDS that the wills would be invalid in Scotland. We emailed and asked them to cancel our deal as the wills were not not worth the paper they were written on. After many months, WDS contacted us and offered to update our wills and would arrange a home visit( part of the package) appointment made, no show from WDS. No call no explanation at all, now they are sending us bills for a document they hold for us that is worthless, we have asked on many occasions to cancel, noting but letters demanding payments. Stay away, shocking service when you have an issue and no solution. Looking forward to their response and will be happy to share.
An amazing response, anyone thinking or dealing with these people should read the responses on Trust pilot. They said I missed the appointment and one of there staff waited an hour outside my property. Only to say below they would never make an appointment as we live to far from their offices.
Can you tell me why you have charged me for years when as you say, the asset we have in Scotland (where we now live) would not be covered. Charlie, you clearly lied about the visit which Is all covered on Trust pilot for everyone to read

Fast forward, we paid to get the wills that WDS were keeping for us(the ones that are worthless) we paid to end our contract with WDS. Only to receive a bill for for the Wills they keep 5 months after paying them. Please please do yourself a massive favour and stay away. They lie, and clearly have no idea who their customers are and just send bills out. I feel for some older people who these people will almost certainly be taking advantage.

My mother used WDS associates for her will. The day after my mother's death we called the solicitors to advise of her passing and request the will. We were told it would need to be retrieved from storage and then letters sent to the will's executor to confirm I.D. and produce a copy of the death certificate before we could have it and that this process would take about 12 working days. After 17 working days I telephoned and emailed them to confirm that it had been retrieved and the letters sent because we needed the will to access my mum's bank records to find her funeral plan. No one replied to my email. Several days later I asked a family member who is a partner in a probate solicitors firm in London to speak with them because they hadn't replied to me. They replied to her email straight away! She was shocked, after speaking with them, at how "useless" and "unprofessional" they were. WDS Associates told us the reason for the delay was because there is only one person who deals with wills and she was on holiday so my mother's will couldn't be processed until she returned. I asked what would happen if this woman went on long term sick, or worse? They didn't answer and just explained again that it would be sorted when this woman returns from holiday. In the end it took over a month for them to release the will. Disgraceful!

A terrible company we never responded to any emails is impossible to get hold of and that’s when I’m alive I have such a little faith that when I die, they will be any better. I’m moving my will to someone else do not use.

I have checked my email and I sent to the right one, along with speaking to your office on the phone and still nothing shared with me. I have cancelled my standing order, do not take anymore funds from my account and have a new will in place.

Looking at the reviews below, I don't think I was alone in receiving poor experience.

Spent the time explaining everything. Answered any questions we raised. The representative Lance was very polite and his Knowledge was top tier. Highly recommend.

Do not use this company! We found them through a charity list, did the will, mailed it back, then... Nothing. For months we are told the will was not received and told we now have to pay lots of fees, despite being told it's all free and we just need to donate to the charity. After months of hassle it's clear this is a scam to get money out of people going through the charity arm. Beyond fed up and they are not threatening to charge us for cancelling the will!

I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by WDS Associates LS Ltd. My family and I have been in contact with them for almost a year, during a very difficult time for us. The process should have been straightforward, but instead, it has been full of errors and delays.

Every single document we received was full of mistakes. Despite numerous communications and providing all necessary documents months ago, WDS failed to rectify the issues promptly. Their customer service has been appalling, with a complete lack of empathy for the stress and inconvenience they have caused.

They will probably respond with a lie of an excuse, but please read through their reviews. I don't want anyone else to go through what my family has experienced.

I would not recommend them to anyone seeking professional and reliable legal services. Their incompetence and lack of accountability have only added to our grief and stress during an already challenging time.

Not satisfied with this service. Endless calls and emails sent for an update with my in laws probate. Always told someone will call back and no-one ever does. My sister in law has no idea what is going on and has not received any correspondence since january. Terrible service!

You have not received emails from me but you have from my sister in law. We have no idea what is going on or when we can sell the house, a year and a half later!!!!

Everyttime my sister calls she is told the people who are dealing with it are on holiday, a few times this has happened.
