I had Ms. Rodriguez as the case manager. She was very rude and not willing to help. I’m very upset with the customer service I received. She was raising her voice and making me feel uncomfortable. I requested a new case manager and she hang up. If she doesn’t like her job, she should quit. It’s not fair what we call to get help and we get the opposite. I called the manager like five times and she doesn’t answer. I really need someone to help me.

This is the worst office I've ever dealt with in trying to help others get assistance. Supervisors refuse to call you back, caseworkers close your cases for no reason, their computer systems are not updated and they demand different things and documents for different people. Their demands for documents and information are totally outside of the rules, regulations and laws provided for Virginia's Department of Social Services. And there's no way to escalate concerns when you can't get a caseworker to do something to help out an elderly or disabled person. They claim they've mailed important case information and documents, but none of the letters ever reach recipients. They lie and document their files to protect themselves, whilst leaving those truly in need without any recourse to find help in Prince William County.

Case worker went on leave and left my case on her desk till she got back, to only not look at my case and send me a message that I was missing documents when I have proof I wasn’t and then never to return my calls again and it was a supervisor Mihaela Walters at DSS WOODBRIDGE

I was going back and forth with so many personal in between the Prince William office and the Manassas office trying to get my cases transferred it was highly impossible as the assigned case worker was no longer with the company. After a month and a half of back and forth to get health insurance active and transferred, I finally got a hold of Mark Halse a supervisor at the Prince William office. Within 30 mins of me being on the phone with him he was doing absolutely everything all the other personnel wasn't able to do. He wasn't able to do it while I was on the call with him, he then calls me 2 hours later to let me know it has been done. My kids insurance was active that same day as well as everything else I was stressing to get done. Thank you so much Mark! I really appreciate everything you did for my kids to get their insurance active and running again.

Absolutely the worst people with no heart work here. Those who answer the phone are even worse. As if these services are paid from their pocket while all US citizens like myself contribute to helping those in need.

My experience with this department was the absolute worse. They lack empathy and compassion . As someone who works in healthcare system and understand what people are going through. These social worker do not understand I am not a person to write negative review. I understand the threshold guidelines I used to be a Financial counselor for a different healthcare system. Jodi Mitchell was not a helpful social worker she was very brief and when asking question to me she sounded like I was the problem our conversation only lasted about 10 minutes. I do not understand why work in a department if you don't have compassion.
