Phenomenal! Run to this place before you’re having to wait hours in line because it’s definitely only a matter of time.

My husband bbqs so my standards are very high. So high in fact, most times even if the BBQ is really good, we don’t tend to go back to the same place that often. So different for us at Hug BBQ!

Everything is amazing. The brisket is by far my favorite and beating out the most famous joints in Texas. The ribs and sausage are also amazing. Most places can’t do really good meat and sides but not at HUG! The collard greens are my favorite of any place so far.

Above all, this restaurant is owned and operated by the nicest family. Supporting an establishment that is family run is so important especially by such great people. Highly recommend! We live in North Dallas and always worth the hour plus drive!

Bonus, you will never find a brisket burger better than theirs. 1000%

Understand that I've only been eating red meat again for six months, but this Brisket Burger here at HUG BBQ is the truth! Good bite, juicy, and included very fresh veggies! The baked beans were also very good with a lot of meat included. The wife's and I order was taken by the youngest child of the owners, and the customer service was stellar. The establishment had a clean restroom, and I also had the chance to speak with the owner about catering an event later this month. We'll be back, and you should get over to check out if you're in the area!

We went here for LC Container good and hot. We both got the special of the day which was a sandwich with one meat and a side, and a one meat plate with two sides. There was plenty of food and it was really good. Their bread is amazing as well as their brisket, ribs and chicken. you know it’s a good spot when they run out of a lot of stuff fast. We were there at 12:30 and they were getting to where they were running out. The desserts looked really good also and we’re very tempting. The 7-Up cake, and banana pudding was almost irresistible. We can’t wait to go back and visit again and hopefully have time to dine in. What a great little place in downtown Lancaster, who would’ve known.

Everything was good! Down to the turkey breast, ribs, brisket, pulled pork, beef and pork sausage! I am always so nervous to eat bbq that isn't my dad's, but this place is AWESOME they did not disappoint! Cooked GREAT! Seasoned GREAT! Trust me, you get your bang for buck! ITS ALOT OF FOOD!

Let me tell you…. THIS BBQ is extremely delicious!!!! It literally melts in your mouth.The sides are fantastic as well! The customer service is top notch, the establishment is super clean. I am so glad to have them in the neighborhood!

THE KING OF BBQ!! I read reviews like everyone , and I wish I could stand on the corner and point people toward this restaurant. The BEST BEST BEST BBQ IVE EVER HAD , and I’m a Texan than eats meat like it’s going out of style. The flavor; there is no words except action packed, truly smoked, robust and mouth watering. From the burnt ends , to brisket , to the beef ribs that were bigger than the box , NOTHING IS DISAPPOINTING! It’s so good I close my eyes to eat because I want to enjoy every bit of it. To top it off, the best banana pudding. Don’t look any further. For those who know bbq, I have even been to Lockhart , TX to try the bbq and this man put them TO SHAME! Keep it up boss man. They broke the mold with you !
