Hemos cenado una hamburguesa aquí y nos ha encantado, personal muy atento y amable, no es turístico por eso es muy acogedor. Una de las mejores cocinas de Escocia sin dudar.

Un ambiente muy agradable, camareros muy amables y amigables comida rica... lo recomiedo a todos los que quieran disfrutar de una buena comida o solamente un descanso en el bar, tienen una carta de bebidas con muy buenos vinos y wiskis ...le doy las gracias a la chica que me atendió (me habló en español) y ha todo el equipo. Tienen un parking atrás .

Visited here and had a fantastic meal, brilliant service and atmosphere. Great that your dog friendly also, sammie enjoyed her doggy fish and chip bowl.

19 of us came for a birthday meal this evening and couldn't be more delighted! All dishes were superb and cooked to perfection. Top class chefs. Beautifully presented dishes and served to us by very professional, helpful staff. No request too difficult. Highly recommended. Thankyou very much

We stopped for some drinks and snacks before our next stop. Fantastic service, cozy atmosphere and delicious food. Nachos were so cheesy and the homemade guacamole was so bright amd spicy - incredible. Cauliflower and smoked cheddar soup was outstanding- perfectly seasoned, creamy and comforting. This place is absolutely worth stopping by.

Me and my family visited tonight for our final meal in Scotland after seeing so many positive reviews. The building was lovely, with welcoming staff and clean facilities. The food, however, was just ok. It was fine. ?‍♂️

We waited 45+ minutes for our food, as it seemed there was a backlog of Sunday roast dinners to come out. We saw tables arrive after us, and eat before us. One table in particular arrived after us, had their food delivered prominently, and ate before we had even seen our meals. Our server, the lovely Cal, acknowledged this and apologised profusely. Despite taking accountability for this, and accepting certain meals had been potentially waiting out and lost heat, there was a strict policy from the owners to prevent us from having any compensation, because we ate what we had been served. This was reported back to us by our server after speaking with the owners on the phone. I would also like to note that at no stage were we checked on to see if we were happy with our meals. An apologetic glass of wine, a dessert, or something would of been nice, we thought, but we had another apology instead. We left paying full price and feeling a bit disappointed but it seemed certain hands were tied.

1/3 meals were lovely, and that was the venison and black pudding pie. Really tasty and a generous portion. The other two, as said, were just fine. I wouldn’t say they reflected the steep price of a £22 main.

Beautiful place with amazing food. It was recommended by the friend we went with and I had the prawn cocktail starter and pork belly main, both of which were fantastic.
My partner had the chef's cheesecake for dessert and said it was the best he's had in years. If we are in the area again we will definitely be going back
