Kira has been a great addition to the family, and gets along quite well with my cat! She’s sassy, playful, and makes laps around my apartment within seconds.

The adoption process was quick and easy for me! I walked in, she sat on my lap, and I said she’s coming home with me, talked to the front desk and we were in my car in about 10 minutes!

The other cat with her is my boy Archie. Soon they will be able to snuggle together but they chase eachother around and play together!

I have so many photos of them together so I had to share

Lucy (formerly Foxy) has been a great adoptee. She’s very sweet, loves cuddling, and enjoys playing with her toys and chasing birds and squirrels in the backyard. We found the Lewisville shelter very clean and the staff extremely helpful. An all around wonderful experience.

thank you so much Lewisville Animal Shelter for uniting me with my sweet baby Katya (formerly Katydid)! They were super kind and helpful, the facility was very clean, and everyone there seemed to really love the animals and want them to go to good homes! I am so happy with my good girl, I adopted her back in September and she fits right in in our home!

We just adopted our two new kittens from here and they were so amazing! It’s a very nice building, super clean. All animals look well taken care of. They said all adoption fees are waved right now until July 6th, and when my boyfriend asked how they make money, they replied “it’s not about the money”. The staff was super cheerful, and extremely helpful. They gave us little bags for each kitten to get us started, filled with food and toys. They also gave us organized folders with all of their info, including vaccine records, DOB, neuter and spay surgery dates, etc. They even had a ton of donated items that we said we could choose from if we needed anything like blankets, food bowls, collars, food, anything you can think of. I definitely will be recommending this place to everyone I know that’s looking to adopt a new family member!

Adopted Willow from the Globe Life Park adoption event, July 2023. She was a scared kitten, which we were told had been brought in feral. LAS felt she could be domesticated. You were right. She's the sweetest, well behaved, funniest and most cuddly cat. Thank you for taking a chance on her.

Politeness and professionalism is severely lacking here. Whoever answered the phone clearly doesn't comprehend basic English and decided to catch an attitude. I was trying to get help for a cat, but instead with met with rudeness. And if that's how she treats humans, I would hate to be an animal.

P.S. I found out she is a supervisor. Very inappropriate behavior from someone with that position.

Absolutely abhorrent service. The workers swiftly looked over me as a young women of color who was in hopes of a dog for a white older gentlemen who had arrived to the facility following my entry who resells dogs for $600. (I wonder why?) Obviously, these women don’t know business as the customary approach would be to attend to the first person that enters the establishment rather than completely dismiss them for the next guest. It does not matter who is in the parking lot first — have you ever bought any Good from a parking lot? Do you wait for tickets to a popular concert or for stores to open during Black Friday in your car? Simple answer, no. Furthermore, a women yesterday had told me specifically that it is first come first serve to whoever asks for the dog. There needs to be consistent information provided. Had I been told it’s the first person in the parking lot, circumstances would have turned out differently. These women are rude and obviously don’t know what they are doing at all. Just simply read their replied comments to negative feedback, absolutely rude, ignorant, and not well-spoken — these women don’t know how to work in a business. I would recommend going to Flower Mound or Carollton animal shelter. Anywhere but here

EDIT: Thank you for proving my point of your establishment’s unprofessionalism. I had even recommended to have the police come as you had threatened us. Please make accurate statements. I used an analogy of Black Friday and goods as merely that — an analogy. Obviously, you have no argument as you are twisting the diction rather than what I had said itself — again, proving the absolute unprofessionalism and ignorance of yourself. Also, these dogs are technically goods as you all are not providing these dogs for free - a simple definition on google of a “good” would suffice in bridging your knowledge gap. If you cared for the dog, you would given it to a family willing to take care of it rather than to an organization that simply puts it in another shelter. There is no denying you all had completely looked over me for a gentle men that WORKS for a company that resells the dog (if anyone is interested, please look up the organization and tell me if $450 + $10/monthly fee for a “rescue” dog doesn’t sound like reselling it). Hope you all work on fixing yourself a for the sake of the dogs, as from reading previous reviews, this is not the first of this type of behavior from yall. The shelter location is absolutely important for individuals to avoid having to deal with unprofessional workers like yourself and feel dissuaded from even getting a shelter dog. So your whole response is absolutely wrong and, again, ignorant and unprofessional. “Period”

They don't answer their phones and they don't follow their posted schedule. I went today. The doors were locked so I called the number immediately got forwarded. All while this was happening employees were just sitting at the desk not even acknowledging me. Didn't nod there head that they were closed. Didn't come up to the door or anything. Just sat there. Good job.
