In reviewing wind damage after Beryl, an AT&T field crew found it necessary to discuss my property, and my service account, with a neighbor, instead of me.

On personal inspection, I discovered a downed, branch "Y" . putting great stress on my cable line. Instead of coming over the fence, to look at their property directly, they told the neighbor the debris must be cleared, before they could take any action.

The hazard could have,easily, been eliminated, by a single person lifting up the "Y" and clearing the threat, by hand. Except, like all field service companies, it is much more convenient finding a long distance excuse not to work, instead of taking a few seconds for any objective consideration.

Hey, AT&T, we have had a contract, with "Ma Bell", for over 40 years; and, I am home, practically, 24/7. While I am crippled, I am not A cripple. You can speak with me.

good luck trying to get any helpful support or installation. bought service weeks ago and have been waiting on a technician to be sent out to install the proper panel. they reopened an OLD account that’s been closed for months and sent the tech there, instead of the new address where a completely new account was created for. installation has been pushed back at least a week and we were told yesterday we’d be the first ones and we’re merely ghosted. just get xfinity or something with more competent and reliable support teams.

update: i even got charged for the visit to the wrong address and have been on hold for an extremely long time to terminate this service. there are a million other providers DO NOT choose at&t
